Summary: Coordinate outreach campaigns, partner engagement, events, workshops, and activities that expose youth to career pathways and training opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate career exploration events, tours, and job shadows.
- Facilitate work readiness classes and workshops (communication, teamwork, professionalism).
- Deliver labor market-driven presentations to schools and youth groups.
- Partner with ISDs, training providers, and nonprofits for outreach.
- Promote resources, digital tools, and HGCY collateral.
- Document participation and track outcomes for reporting.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s degree OR equivalent experience in event planning, youth programs, or marketing/outreach.
Preferred Skills:
- Public speaking and facilitation skills.
- Experience working with schools, nonprofits, and community partners.
- Experience working with disconnected or at-risk youth populations
- Digital engagement and social media outreach skills.
- Personal computer literacy required, including effective use of the Internet, e-mail, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook);
- Ability to meet and/or exceed set goals and objectives;
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, organizational skills, and communication skills, both oral and written, required
- Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure
