Part-Time Kit Assembly: Paper Cutting, Assembly & Quality Control Specialist
We are seeking a **detail-oriented, reliable, and independent** part-time employee to join our 2 person mail kit production team. This role involves **highly repetitive** meticulous paper cut-out assembly, envelope stuffing, quality control checks, and inventory management tasks. Ideally located in or close to Rochester Hills.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a steady, repetitive environment, takes pride in precision work, and is looking for consistent part-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Precisely assemble paper cut-outs and stuff envelopes following the same detailed process repeatedly
- Perform consistent quality control inspections to maintain high standards on every single piece
- Maintain organized inventory of supplies and materials
- Work efficiently and accurately during repetitive production tasks while staying focused for the full 5 hour shift
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus on repetitive work
- Must be able to use cutting boards and guillotine cutting boards and presses
- Must be able to **work independently** with minimal to no supervision
- Ability to sit or stand for up to one hour at a time
- Fine motor skills for detailed handwork
- Reliable and consistent attendance
Schedule:
- Mondays and Thursdays, **8:00 AM – 1:00 PM** (5 hours per shift, 10 hours per week)
- Potential on call for sudden demand surges
