Key responsibilities and involvement include but are not limited to:
- Pick and pack orders correctly, ensuring that orders are packed in the most effective way to reduce cost and ensure products get to customers correctly and free of damage
- Schedule freight, both domestically and internationally, ensuring customs paperwork is done correctly where required
- Assist in material handling duties within immediate area or as directed by the Supervisor
- Assists in stock takes as directed
- · Proactively contribute to the quality control investigation prior to dispatching of product
- Ensure trucks are unloaded and customers are attended to with minimal waiting time
- Ensure work floor space is clear of pallets and placed in correct locations.
- Other duties as may be required
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
- Proven work experience in warehousing/shipping
- Good organization and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand serial tags
- Knowledge and experience of OSHA in a warehousing environment
- Forklift experience
