Lea French Cafe, a French Cafe and Restaurant, is looking for an Part time Artisan Baker for early morning daytime shifts. Lea French Cafe is a family owned business that uses sustainable high quality ingredients to create the perfect sandwich.
Responsibilities include making baguettes, croissants, and pastries from scratch in the French tradition! We use the highest quality butters and flours with no chemicals or preservatives.
Artisan Baker is responsible for mixing, dividing, creating croissant books ( laminated dough), shaping baguettes and croissants by hand, baking off specialty pastries. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Hourly rate starts at $20 plus tips of an average of 5$/hour so 25/ hour take home. Starting hourly rate is based on level of experience. Shifts are 3 days/week at approximately 20 hours/ week. Sunday and Monday Early morning shifts (4am-12pm) plus one other weekday afternoon shift. Position includes a parking spot!
