We are seeking a motivated and versatile Handyman/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks including drywall installation, painting, caulking, and fixture installation
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to complete carpentry, framing, roofing, and masonry projects
- Assist with construction site setup, cleanup, and organization to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute tasks such as door hanging, cabinet installation, or tile laying
- Conduct basic construction inspections to ensure quality standards are met during various phases of projects
- Use heavy equipment when necessary for excavation or material handling under supervision
- Assist with restoration projects including stucco application, concrete finishing, or hardscape installation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or general labor roles with familiarity in construction site operations
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics; knowledge of construction estimating and management is a plus
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring, roofing techniques, and masonry work preferred
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety protocols
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation is preferred
