Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Gutter Installer to join our construction team, committed to delivering high-quality gutter installation services for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction techniques, roofing systems, and the use of various hand and power tools. Responsibilities
- Measure and assess job sites to determine the appropriate gutter system specifications
- Install gutters, downspouts, and related components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, caulking, or applying sealants to ensure secure attachment
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as gutters, framing components, and related supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed throughout all phases of installation
- Conduct quality checks to verify proper alignment, secure fastening, and functional drainage
- Assist in demolition or removal of old gutter systems as needed for remodeling or restoration projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards at all times
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating and blueprint reading for accurate project planning
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing, carpentry, and masonry techniques
- Knowledge of roofing systems, flashing, caulking, and trim carpentry practices
- Familiarity with schematics, schematics interpretation, and metal fabrication processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Strong understanding of plumbing principles relevant to gutter drainage systems
- Prior experience in restoration or remodeling projects is advantageous
- Skilled in the use of scaffolding or working at heights when necessary
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in installation procedures
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse construction environments
