As a Honeywell Aerospace Senior Health, Safety, Environmental Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Tempe site’s HSE management system. Your contributions will ensure compliance with the fire protection, pressure test, mechanical integrity, combustible dust, hot work, and emergency preparedness & response programs, support HSE and facilities initiatives and enhance the site safety culture.
You will report directly to our Sr HSE Manager and work on-site in Tempe, AZ.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement the Honeywell Health, Safety, Environmental Management System
- Manage the loss prevention programs for the site
- Manage the pressure test program for the site
- Provide technical assistance regarding health, safety, environmental compliance requirements
- Develop and administer training and communications to site personnel regarding HSE topics
- Perform site aspect and impact maturity assessments of the HSE management system
- Measure key HSE indicators and implement plans to address gaps
- Drive projects to further improve fire protection, mechanical integrity, and pressure test programs
- Support facilities construction projects and maintenance activities
