As a Communications Coordinator, your role goes beyond sharing information—you’ll help shape how employees, residents, leaders, and communities connect with BHI Senior Living. From developing communication plans and creating engaging content to managing communication channels and advising leaders on messaging and timing, you’ll play an important role in strengthening the BHI brand. Your creativity, strategic thinking, and collaboration across the organization will help ensure communications are clear, consistent, and meaningful.

In This Role You Will:
Manage enterprise-wide corporate and internal communication processes, calendars, and workflows to ensure timely, consistent, and effective communication across BHI communities.
Develop and execute communication plans for organizational initiatives, projects, campaigns, and change-management efforts.
Create executive and leadership communications, including presentations, talking points, announcements, and strategic messaging.
Advise leaders and communities on communication strategies, messaging, audiences, channels, and timing.
Develop engaging content, including newsletters, articles, website copy, employee spotlights, resident stories, testimonials, and community features.
Identify and develop compelling stories through interviews with residents, employees, leaders, and community partners.
Plan and coordinate video, photography, and multimedia communications, including scripting, production, scheduling, logistics, and distribution.
Lead communications for resident experience initiatives, engagement programs, surveys, pilot projects, and related reporting.
Manage communication platforms and resources, including SharePoint, ICON, HubSpot, SurveyMonkey, email, content libraries, and brand assets.
Monitor communication engagement and effectiveness, identify trends, and recommend improvements based on data, feedback, and organizational objectives.
Who You Are

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or related field required.
- 2-4 years of progressive experience in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or project coordination.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and engaging communications for diverse audiences.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage communications projects and processes from concept through execution.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment in developing communications strategies, messaging, content, and communication approaches.
- Ability to assess communication needs, develop recommendations, and make decisions within established organizational objectives and brand standards.
- Experience advising or partnering with leaders and stakeholders on communication strategies and initiatives.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to independently prioritize competing projects, deadlines, and organizational needs.
