Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Digital Print Operator to join our vibrant production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating advanced digital printing equipment to produce high-quality drinkware efficiently and accurately. Your expertise will ensure that every project meets our rigorous standards for color fidelity, layout precision, and overall quality. Responsibilities
- Operate digital printing presses and related machinery, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
- Manage prepress processes including file preparation, color management, layout design, and proofing to guarantee accurate reproduction of designs.
- Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment and troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the print process to ensure color accuracy, sharpness, and consistency across all materials.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and production staff to review print specifications and resolve any technical or design discrepancies.
- Maintain detailed records of print jobs, including job specifications, material usage, and production timelines.
- Assist with setup of printing machinery such as flexo presses or CNC equipment when necessary for specialized projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in screen printing, digital printing or related manufacturing processes.
- Strong knowledge of prepress workflows, color management techniques, and layout design principles.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for preparing print files.
- Familiarity with quality control standards specific to print advertising and promotional materials.
- Ability to operate machinery such as flexo presses or CNC equipment; experience with machining is a plus.
- Basic understanding of typography and print layout design to ensure visual clarity and impact.
- Valid forklift certification is preferred for handling large rolls of media or materials on-site.
