Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalized care plans that incorporate nutritional needs, dietary restrictions, and health goals for residents or patients.
- Supervise dietary staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate nutritional interventions and adjust menus accordingly.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards such as proper handling of tube feeding supplies and diagnostic evaluation protocols.
- Manage dietary department budgets, inventory control, and procurement to optimize resources while maintaining high-quality service.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to evaluate patient progress, modify care plans as needed, and provide health coaching on nutrition-related topics.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory guidelines related to assisted living facilities, healthcare standards, and food safety regulations.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Dietary Manager or equivalent credential from an accredited organization.
- Proven experience in dietary management within assisted living or healthcare settings.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, nutrition science, dietetics principles, and care planning processes.
- Supervising experience with teams responsible for meal preparation and patient care activities.
- Familiarity with tube feeding procedures, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and health coaching strategies.
- Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
