We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Cigar Floor Stock Clerk to support our cigar production operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
As a Cigar Floor Stock Clerk, you will play an important role in supporting daily production activities on the Cigar Floor. Your primary focus will be maintaining production flow, replenishing materials, transporting products, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment.
You will be:
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the Cigar Floor, including sweeping floors and keeping work areas clean
- Replenishing tobacco fillers on cigar rolling machines to support continuous production
- Loading, unloading, and relocating carts of tobacco, cigars, and production materials throughout the facility
- Assisting the Cigar Floor Supervisor and mechanics with production support and operational needs
- Loading and unloading incoming shipments, containers, and materials
- Stocking production supplies and transporting materials to designated work areas
- Performing general labor, shipping, stocking, and other related duties as assigned
- Following all safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment
Who You Are
You are reliable, self-motivated, and enjoy physical, hands-on work. You take pride in supporting your team, maintaining an organized workspace, and helping keep production running smoothly.
You likely bring:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Ability to lift, push, and pull materials throughout the workday
- Ability to use both hands simultaneously while performing production-related tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Flexibility to work overtime during the week and occasional Saturdays during peak production periods
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Regularly lift, carry, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
- Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment around moving machinery and production equipment
- Ability to safely operate carts and transport materials throughout the facility
- Exposure to varying levels of noise and production activity typical of a manufacturing environment
- Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when applicable
- Regular interaction with supervisors and coworkers requiring effective and respectful communication
- Full-time schedule Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with overtime and occasional Saturdays as business needs require
