Swim Instructor with Experience (PT)
Shifts Available:
- Weekends (9:00am - 3:00pm)
- Afternoons/Evenings (3:00pm-8:00pm)
Established, high-end swim school is looking for experienced and reliable members of our team. Candidates must demonstrate excellent teaching technique, commitment, promptness, responsiveness, organization, and people skills. We are looking to fill the following:
Location: LA Fitness in Port Chester.
WSI certification is preferred however we will consider extensive teaching experience above everything else. You will co-teach with one of our senior instructors until you are proficient with our program prior to "owning" your own schedule. Candidates should have experience that includes teaching babies as young as 4 months, children, teens, adults, students with special needs and competitive swimmers.
Summary
As a Senior Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching our proprietary swimming techniques and safety skills to individuals of various ages and skill levels. Reporting to the Aquatics Director, you will utilize your core skills in sports coaching and teaching to create engaging lesson plans. Join our team to inspire confidence and promote water safety in a supportive and energetic atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Execute our engaging swim lesson plans tailored to various skill levels.
- Ensure a safe swimming environment by monitoring participants and adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to swimmers to enhance their skills.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to promote a positive learning atmosphere.
- Maintain organizational records of student progress and attendance in our app.
