LocalVet Urgent Care is a privately owned, veterinary-led urgent care hospital, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant (2+ years of experience) to join our growing team.

What You'll Be Doing
As one of our senior technicians/assistants, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional urgent care by:
- Triaging incoming urgent care patients
- Obtaining patient histories and vital signs
- Performing phlebotomy and placing IV catheters
- Monitoring sedated and anesthetized patients
- Assisting with anesthesia induction and recovery
- Taking high-quality digital radiographs
- Administering medications accurately and safely
- Performing medical calculations confidently
- Maintaining accurate medical records, including controlled substances
- Educating and supporting pet owners with empathy and professionalism
- Working alongside our veterinarians to provide efficient, compassionate care
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital

Compensation:
$17.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience.
Expected Hours: 32–40 hours per week
Schedule:
- 8- or 10-hour shifts
- Evening shifts
- Weekend availability required
