With four locations across the Kansas City metro area, we are growing and looking for a skilled and motivated Lead Automotive Technician / Shop Foreman to join our team and help lead one of our busy shops.
Position Overview:
As the Lead Automotive Technician and Shop Foreman, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the shop. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing complex vehicle issues, managing workflow, overseeing the work of other technicians, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This is a leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys mentoring others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of vehicle issues
- Manage daily workflow and job assignments for technicians
- Oversee and inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety standards
- Assist with training and mentoring new and junior technicians
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers when needed
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems
- Support a positive team culture and uphold company values of integrity and excellence
Qualifications:
- ASE Certification(s) preferred
- 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an automotive shop
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
