Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscaping Crew Leader to join our team. This role is essential in overseeing landscaping projects and ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for landscape maintenance, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Duties
- Must be bilingual, speaking fluent Spanish and English.
- Must have experience driving an Isuzu truck with trailer.
- Oversee landscape maintenance activities such as irrigation, planting, mulching, and groundskeeping.
- Train crew members on proper techniques for maintaining landscapes and gardens, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to assess quality and provide feedback for improvement.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide updates on project progress.
- Maintains safe working conditions on job site at all times; follows and implements all company safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscaping or groundskeeping with a focus on landscape maintenance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care practices, tree care techniques, and garden maintenance.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in executing landscaping projects.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
- Must be bilingual, speaking Spanish and English.
- A valid driver's license is required for transporting crew members and equipment to job sites.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional landscape experience.
