Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and safety at all times
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, upselling menu items, and handling cash or card transactions
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations throughout your shift
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and resolving any concerns promptly
- Assist with retail sales transactions when applicable, including processing cash register operations and handling cash or digital payments
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as food prep, order assembly, and customer interactions
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Experience in food preparation, food handling, or culinary roles will help you excel in this position
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Previous retail or café experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
