The Apartment Community Manager will be responsible for ensuring tenant satisfaction, managing leasing activities, and maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the property.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of leasing, including advertising vacancies, conducting property tours, and screening potential tenants
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, ensuring that units are clean and ready for occupancy
- Address tenant concerns and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Enforce lease agreements and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including Fair Housing regulations
- Maintain accurate records of rental payments, expenses, and maintenance requests
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and ensure adherence to safety standards
- Oversee the work of maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism
- Utilize strong phone etiquette skills to handle incoming calls from current and prospective tenants
- Actively promote upselling opportunities to increase revenue
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Property/Community Manager
- Proficient in office software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with contract management and lease agreements
-Knowledge in HAP is preferred.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws governing rental properties
- Experience working with CMMS platforms such as Entrata is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
