Location: Ruidoso Public Health Office
Schedule: Up to 40 hours/week; weekday shifts with occasional Saturdays and holiday coverage as needed
Assignment Length: 52 weeks
Experience: 2–3 years preferred
The New Mexico Department of Health is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join the Ruidoso Public Health Office. The MA will support providers by preparing patients for visits, taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, coordinating appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and maintaining patient flow.
Requirements:
- BLS Certification
- COVID-19 Vaccine Series Complete
- Experience with American Indian/Alaskan Native populations and/or Indian Health Services (IHS) (preferred)
- Phlebotomy experience (preferred)
- Medical Assistant Certification Required
- MUST BE CERTIFIED
