About The Role
- Skilled Technical Expertise: Utilize knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other components to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot complex problems efficiently.
- Preventive Maintenance: Execute routine inspections and preventive maintenance procedures to ensure the fleet's optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Safety Standards: Prioritize safety protocols and guidelines
- Manage work schedules effectively to meet repair deadlines, ensuring the timely return of trucks to operational status.
- Work collaboratively with other mechanics, technicians, and support staff to streamline workflow and enhance overall team productivity
- Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and updates in truck mechanics to enhance skills and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Be prepared to respond promptly to high-priority breakdowns, demonstrating a sense of urgency and problem-solving skills to minimize downtime.
