EA Family Services is a nonprofit foster family agency that has been serving children, youth, young adults, and families throughout Northern California for more than 40 years. The organization provides nurturing, supportive services designed to help children and families thrive through trauma-informed, relationship-based care.
Position Summary
EA Family Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Wraparound Family Specialist to support families in the Tracy/Stockton area. In this role, you will partner closely with families, community providers, and clinicians to strengthen family functioning, improve stability, and help families achieve their goals through the Wraparound model.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized crisis and safety plans.
- Provide on-call and crisis intervention support, including 24/7 availability as required by program needs.
- Assist families in building healthy communication skills and strengthening family relationships.
- Connect families with community resources, natural supports, and services that promote long-term success.
- Collaborate with therapists and other team members to reinforce therapeutic interventions and treatment goals.
- Advocate for families and support their active participation in the Wraparound process.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with agency and program requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Combination of professional experience and lived experience supporting children, youth, and families.
- Training, certification, or demonstrated knowledge in family engagement, trauma-informed care, behavioral health, child welfare, or related fields preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective during crisis situations.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the service area.
Compensation & Benefits
