Schedules: 5:30am - 3:30pm and 11am-10pm (Must be able to work both shifts)
Pay Rate: $18.00 or more depending on experience and performance!
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Chemical Batch Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves preparing and mixing chemical batches in accordance with strict quality and safety standards, supporting production efficiency, and maintaining compliance with CGMP regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments, laboratory procedures, and materials handling (Such as waterproofing, sprayable and castable elastomers to binders, adhesives, flat-proof systems) with a focus on precision and safety.
Duties:
- Accurately measure, mix, and prepare chemical batches following established formulas and safety protocols
- Operate and maintain equipment such as mixers, scales, and packaging machinery
- Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
- Assist with packaging finished products for shipment while maintaining quality standards
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles
- Collaborate with laboratory personnel for quality control testing when necessary
- MUST HAVE STEEL TOE BOOTS
- Must be able to do HEAVY lifting
- Have Manufacturing experience
Pay: $18.00 per hour
