- Pest Management Services: Perform pest inspections, identify pests, and determine appropriate treatment methods to control and eliminate infestations. This includes rodents, insects, and other pests commonly found in residential and commercial settings.
- Client Communication: Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner, explaining pest control procedures, addressing any concerns, and providing recommendations for pest prevention and maintenance.
- Service Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services provided, including inspection reports, treatment plans, and service agreements. Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Treatment Implementation: Apply pesticides and other control products according to label instructions and safety protocols. Utilize various treatment methods, such as baiting, trapping, and spraying, to effectively manage pest populations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Properly maintain and calibrate pest control equipment, including sprayers, bait stations, and traps. Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition and report any issues to management.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), handling of hazardous materials, and disposal of waste products. Participate in safety training programs as required.
- Continuing Education: Stay informed about new developments in pest control techniques, products, and regulations. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in the field.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other pest control technicians, supervisors, and office staff to coordinate service schedules, share information, and provide support as needed.
- Customer Service Excellence: Strive to deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction with pest control services.
Qualifications:
- Branch 2 Field Representative License: Must possess a valid Branch 2 Field Representative license issued by the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR).
- Knowledge of Pest Control Practices: Familiarity with common pests, their behavior, and effective control methods. Understanding of pesticide application techniques and safety precautions.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients, coworkers, and supervisors. Ability to explain technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Attention to Detail: Keen observation skills to identify pest infestations, assess severity, and develop appropriate treatment plans. Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain accurate records.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and climbing. Must be able to carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 30 Pd.
- Valid Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to drive company vehicles to client locations and transport equipment as needed.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Minimum educational requirement. Additional training or certifications in pest control or related fields are advantageous.
A Branch 2 Field Representative Pest Control Technician plays a crucial role in safeguarding public health and property by effectively managing pest populations and providing quality pest control services to clients in compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
