We're hiring an Estimator to own preconstruction budgeting and bid management across our entire portfolio. This is a newly defined seat: every number Grove Homes commits to — from first concept budget to final contract price — starts at your desk. You'll work closely with ownership and free up leadership to focus on design vision and field execution instead of day-to-day pricing.

What You'll Do
- Build precon budgets from concept through final contract price on 10–12 projects per year
- Run the full bid process: scope sheets, subcontractor solicitation, bid leveling, and award recommendations
- Maintain a living cost database and unit pricing benchmarks by home type and finish level
- Price change-order requests to support project managers in client negotiations
- Coordinate long-lead procurement pricing and timelines with our scheduling team
- Partner with ownership on budget post-mortems, comparing estimates against actual job costs to keep our numbers sharp
What You Bring
- 5+ years of estimating experience in residential construction; luxury custom home experience strongly preferred
- Expert-level plan reading across all trades, comfortable with the detail level custom finish work demands
- Proficiency with takeoff and estimating software (Buildertrend, or similar) and advanced Excel
- A systems-builder mindset — you build templates and checklists, and you keep a defensible cost history
- Construction Management degree or equivalent field/office experience
Pay: $69,064.19 - $105,000.00 per year
