United Pools is hiring Lifeguards for the brand new Spalding County Aquatic Center, opening in 2024! Full-time and part-time positions are available year-round.
Lifeguards must be able to swim, tread water, and successfully pass all lifeguard certification classes, trainings, and inservices.
United Pools offers FREE LIFEGUARD, CPR & FIRST AID CERTIFICATIONS to all applicants who complete the hiring process in a timely manner.
Lifeguards are responsible for supervising swimmers, preventing accidents, and the overall upkeep of the aquatic facility. Lifeguards oversee the pool to create the safest swimming environment possible! Lifeguards will be responsible for:
- Watching the water AT ALL TIMES!
- Greeting and building a relationship with everyone who enters the facility
- Delivering excellent service to all members, guests, and participants
- Providing information in an accurate and courteous manner
- Enforcing all rules and regulations
- Checking and maintaining water chemistry
- Cleaning the pool and building areas daily
- Building relationships with patrons
