Duties
- Lead grassroots community organizing efforts to identify local needs and mobilize community members around shared goals
- Develop and implement programs focused on public health, youth engagement, or social services that serve diverse populations
- Manage volunteer programs by recruiting, training, supervising, and recognizing volunteers to support community initiatives
- Collaborate with local partners, organizations, and stakeholders to coordinate outreach activities and expand program impact
- Design and execute marketing strategies utilizing social media platforms, community events, and traditional outreach methods to raise awareness
- Collect and analyze data related to program outcomes to measure success and inform continuous improvement efforts
- Facilitate public speaking engagements, workshops, or presentations to promote program initiatives and foster community participation
- Assist in fundraising efforts by writing grants or developing resource materials to sustain program activities
- Maintain detailed records of activities, volunteer hours, and community feedback to support reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in program development, project management, and grassroots organizing
- Proficiency in social media management, marketing strategies, data collection tools, and basic technical skills
- Experience working with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bilingual ( spanish -English ) abilities
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is required
- Strong written communication skills for report writing and grant applications
- Ability to collaborate effectively with community partners and demonstrate leadership within team settings
