Oral Surgery Consultants of Pennsylvania (OSCP) is multi-physician, multi-location, oral surgery practice committed to providing expert care at a reasonable price. At OSCP, employees are viewed as the # 1 asset. All OSCP employees are required to have a car and a valid driver’s license. OSCP employees are expected to travel to all FOUR practice locations. We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors ensuring a smooth and professional experience. Your proactive approach and excellent organizational skills will help maintain efficient office operations, manage multi-line phone systems, checking in patients, checking out patients , and support various administrative functions. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment where customer service and office management are at the forefront.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and direct them appropriately, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries, and route calls efficiently using professional phone etiquette
- Verifying dental and medical insurance
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and faxes
- Maintain organized filing systems, perform data entry, and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Assist with clerical duties including photocopying and scanning
- Use computer literacy skills with Microsoft Office and WinOMS
- Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Proven office experience with strong clerical skills and familiarity with front desk operations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette is essential
- Previous experience in medical or dental reception is a plus but not required; relevant personal assistant or administrative experience is valued
- Ability to type quickly with high accuracy while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional attitude
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy office setting

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
