Premier Driver Hiring Standards (Smart Phone with E-Mail Address)

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must be able to speak and read English well enough to do his/her job and respond to official questions.

Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Must comply with Premier’s Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.

Must be able to pass a DOT physical on the second day of orientation.

Must provide two (2) recent and verifiable years of over the road experience.

Must provide two (2) verifiable years DOT log experience.

Possess a current and valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Material and Tank endorsements.

Not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle.

Must pass a commercial driver’s road test.

Demonstrate the ability to determine whether a vehicle is safely loaded.

Must successfully complete a Criminal Background Investigation.

Smart Phone required (for dispatch) including email capability.
Motor Vehicle Record must show:

No Type A violations in preceding 36 months (examples include: reckless driving, DWI, license suspension).

No “15 mph over posted limit” violations in preceding 36 months.

No more than three (3) points on driver’s license.
