We are a high-volume, locally owned restaurant featuring a scratch kitchen, Modern American comfort food, craft cocktails, and a strong commitment to guest service. Our bartenders are a key part of the guest experience and must be able to execute at a high level in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced bartender who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment. Our bartenders play a key role in the overall guest experience and are expected to deliver both high-quality beverages and genuine, hospitality-driven service.
This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to manage a busy bar top while executing service bar tickets efficiently and accurately. Bartenders may also manage a small section of tables depending on the shift and experience level.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in full-service restaurants and understands the pace, organization, and teamwork required to succeed in a high-performing environment. You must be able to work with urgency, stay composed under pressure, and maintain consistency in both product and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cocktails, beer, and wine to recipe specifications with consistency and speed
- Provide friendly, professional, and engaging service to bar guests
- Manage service bar tickets efficiently while maintaining bar top service
- Multitask a small section of tables when needed
- Maintain full knowledge of food and beverage menus
- Accurately handle cash, tabs, and POS transactions (TOAST)
- Communicate clearly with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
- Follow company service standards and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized workspace
- Complete opening, closing, and side work duties
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years bartending experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant (required)
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Important Note
This role requires experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant setting with a complete food menu. We are looking for bartenders who are comfortable working in an environment where guests are dining—not just ordering drinks or bar snacks.
Candidates with only banquet, event, or nightclub bartending experience may not be the right fit for this position.
Commitment
This is a long-term position. We are not hiring for temporary or seasonal roles and are seeking candidates who are committed to consistency and being part of the team beyond the summer.
Scheduling & Expectations
- Minimum of 2 shifts per week required
- Availability for weekends and some holidays is preferred.
- Flexible scheduling is available, as we are hiring both full-time and part-time team members
- Time-off requests are managed through a request system and approved based on business needs
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
