At True North Fleet Services, and trusted partner Truck & Trailer, are looking for a Mobile Diesel Technician / Mobile Diesel Mechanic. This role supports fleet uptime through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and quality repairs on diesel equipment in a mobile service environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, brake systems, suspension, steering, and electrical components
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues
- Complete DOT inspections and ensure compliance standards are met
- Accurately document repairs and maintenance activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized mobile work environment
- Collaborate with drivers, service advisors, and leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years of diesel experience (fleet, dealership, or independent shop)
- Mobile experience required
- ASE T-Series certifications preferred (T2, T4, T5, T6, T8) or willingness to obtain
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, not required)
