Curriculum Resource Adoption Project
-
HQIM Adoption Cycles: Partner with school administrators and the Des Moines Catholic Schools Regional Office to design, establish, and implement a long term plan for adoption of High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM).

Purchasing Coordination: Oversee and coordinate the procurement and training logistics for newly adopted curriculum materials.
Standards Alignment Project

Master Standards Consolidation: Review individual school essential standards and synthesize them into a single, cohesive master list to update and streamline Diocesan reporting standards.
Student Support & Compliance

504 Implementation: Provide comprehensive training, guidance, and ongoing support to school staff regarding 504 plan implementation and compliance as needed.

Health Manual Rollout: Coordinate and facilitate meetings with school nurses to organize the distribution and implementation of the Iowa School Nurse Toolkit.
New Early Childhood Programs: Coordinate with the Superintendent to support compliance in new Early Childhood programs in conjunction with Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Education, and Diocesan Catholic Schools Office as needed

Education: Masters degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field required

Experience: Proven experience in curriculum development, school administration, or instructional coaching. Experience within a Catholic school or Diocesan system preferred.

Knowledge Base: Familiarity with HQIM frameworks, curriculum alignment, data-driven reporting standards, and 504 plan regulations.

Catholic Mission: Support the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church, Diocese of Des Moines, and the Catholic Schools Office

Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.

Strong communication and presentation skills for leading professional development.

Proficiency in data consolidation (e.g., managing master spreadsheets or standards databases).

Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, part-time schedule.
