Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Janitorial Associate to join our facility maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment through comprehensive cleaning and custodial tasks. Your efforts will ensure the facility remains compliant with health and safety standards, supports operational efficiency, and promotes a positive workspace for all staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and experience in janitorial and custodial services.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of warehouse floors, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing to maintain a pristine environment.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as trash removal, dusting, and sanitizing work areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Utilize floor care equipment for polishing and buffing floors to enhance durability and appearance.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, and break rooms through thorough cleaning procedures.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to maintenance teams.
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently while adhering to environmental safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and general sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or upkeep.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina for performing manual cleaning duties over extended periods.
- Prior experience with residential painting or industrial cleaning is a plus but not required.
