Suite Habana is a specialty Cuban coffee shop focused on bringing together Cuban coffee culture, high-quality specialty coffee, and genuine hospitality.
We’re looking for an experienced barista to join our South Beach team. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys coffee, takes pride in their craft, and understands that great hospitality is just as important as making a great drink.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare espresso-based drinks consistently and efficiently
- Dial in espresso and maintain quality throughout the shift
- Steam and texture milk properly for cappuccinos, cortados, flat whites, café con leche and other drinks
- Provide warm, attentive customer service
- Keep the bar clean, organized and ready for service
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality
- Learn and represent Suite Habana's coffee, menu and Cuban coffee culture
- Work collaboratively with a small, hospitality-focused team
What we’re looking for:
- Previous professional barista experience preferred
- Strong espresso and milk-steaming skills
- Knowledge of specialty coffee is a plus
- Friendly, dependable and comfortable interacting with guests
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work mornings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Spanish/English bilingual is a plus, but not required
Compensation: $17–$20 per hour + tips
Full-time and part-time positions are available.
