Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Invoicing Representative and become a vital part of our small export shipping company. In this role, you will be responsible for data entry, managing invoicing processes, ensuring accurate billing, filing, some possible light accounting and maintaining seamless communication with clients and internal departments. Any experience in these duties and customer service are welcome, but not a must. We can train. We work as a team so you must be willing to help out in other departments when needed. Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and process invoices using billing software and accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Word, and other financial tools
- Enter data accurately into customer files, utilizing Excel formulas and data analysis techniques for reporting purposes
- Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices, payments, or billing issues with professionalism and clear communication
- Closing of customer files and processing export paperwork for when the shipment is ready to move out.
- Assist with month-end closing processes by preparing detailed reports on billing activities and account status updates
Experience
- Proven experience in computer operations, with a focus on invoicing, and billing operations would be good, but not a must. Our system in unique to what we do, so we are willing to train
- Strong knowledge of data entry and numbers
- Excellent customer service skills combined with phone etiquette for client communication and negotiation
- Ability to perform detailed data entry using 10-key typing skills accurately under tight deadlines
- Background in computer and accounting is preferred but not required
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
