Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fitter/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing precise welding and metal fabrication tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship in a team-oriented environment. This role requires mechanical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other employees to complete projects efficiently and safely. The position involves processing sanitary welds, piping layout, and installing equipment such as pumps and motors.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding, Stick welding, and MIG welding to meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Fabricate metal components according to detailed drawings and specifications.
- Process sanitary welds and accurately layout piping systems for installation.
- Install pumps, motors, and related equipment ensuring proper alignment and secure connections.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects on time and within safety guidelines.
- Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding less experienced workers when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot welding issues or fabrication challenges promptly to minimize delays.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in TIG welding, MIG welding, and Stick welding.
- Strong metal fabrication skills with attention to detail.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to piping systems, pump installation, and equipment setup.
- Ability to process sanitary welds with precision.
- Capable of reading technical drawings and layout plans accurately.
- Leadership skills with the ability to work well within a team setting.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards.
- Prior experience in installing pumps, motors, or similar mechanical components is preferred.

Pay: $35.00 - $48.00 per hour
