GotWorX Staffing is hiring Facilities Maintenance Technicians for a leading automotive parts distribution center in Ontario, CA.
We're looking for experienced maintenance professionals who enjoy troubleshooting equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and keeping facilities operating safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections
- Troubleshoot and repair building equipment and facility systems
- Complete work orders using computerized maintenance systems
- Perform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building repairs
- Replace filters, light bulbs, door hardware, faucets, and ceiling tiles
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance issues
- Coordinate repairs with outside contractors when needed
- Maintain maintenance logs and inspection records
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations as required
- Follow all OSHA and workplace safety procedures
- Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment as needed
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- 4–6 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to read equipment manuals and drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and a commitment to safety
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, or man lifts
- Experience with computerized maintenance or work order systems
- Industrial or distribution center maintenance experience
Physical Requirements
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Lift up to 50 lbs. (more with mechanical assistance)
- Walk, stand, climb ladders, bend, kneel, squat, and reach throughout the shift
- Safely operate maintenance equipment and powered lifts
