We are looking for experienced employees whom are willing to work with Arizona’s individuals with developmental disabilities at our group home facility. CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR: Direct Care Staff to be flexible and reliable looking for staff to work:
Weekends / Friday - Sunday / Overnights / Mornings /Evenings
Prior to starting all staff accepting the positions are required to completed necessary training and experience listed below.
Looking for permanent and serious applicants only. Starting pay is $17.00-17.50/hr. DOE. Employees with experience and all required certifications ready is a huge plus!
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care: bathing and grooming, dressing, toileting, and exercise
- Basic food preparation: preparing meals, shopping and other errands
- General health care: documenting medication and prescriptions usage, administering medicine
- Mobility assistance / Transportation / Encouragement and Support
- Personal supervision: providing constant companionship and general supervision
- Emotional support: being a stable companion and supporter in all matters personal, health-related and emotional
- Health monitoring: following a care plan and noticing any changes in the individual's health, recording and reporting any differences
- Cleaning and Maintenance: basic cleaning and upkeep of the home, dishes, sweeping, mopping, bathrooms, and other housekeeping errands
- Maintains oral and written communication with staff, management, and others as requested
Requirements :
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Fingerprint Clearance Card (Valid)
- Arizona Driver’s License (able to drive, clean record preferred)
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
Training required: Prevention & Support, CPR, First Aid, Article 9, Abuse & Neglect
Milestone Homes completes background checks, personal and employment reference checks on all prospective employees.
