Rice Stop is looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic Boba Tea Barista to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing boba teas and specialty drinks, taking customer orders, maintaining a clean work area, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, matcha drinks, coffee drinks, and other specialty beverages according to recipes.
- Cook and prepare boba/tapioca pearls and other drink toppings.
- Take customer orders accurately and operate the POS/register.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Maintain consistent drink quality, portion sizes, and presentation.
- Keep the drink station, equipment, counters, and front-of-house areas clean and organized.
- Restock cups, lids, straws, ingredients, toppings, and other supplies.
- Follow proper food-safety, sanitation, and handwashing procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner periods.
- Assist other team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Boba, coffee, restaurant, or customer-service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
- Friendly and positive attitude.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform routine cleaning and restocking.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, is preferred.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, takes pride in making great drinks, keeps their workspace clean, and is willing to learn. No boba experience is necessary if you have a good attitude and are willing to be trained.
