Retail Lead — Sedona, AZ

Sedona Crystal Vortex is looking for a Retail Lead to help run the floor at one of our three Sedona locations. You're the person who keeps the shift moving — directing the team, holding the standard, and stepping into problems before the Manager has to. If you've led a retail floor before and want more ownership without leaving the floor, this is the role.
What You'll Do
- Run daily floor operations — task assignment, pacing, and team readiness throughout the shift
- Lead by example in every customer interaction; place customers first over all other store activity
- Prioritize the team's work around peak traffic periods and adjust on the fly as the floor demands it
- Help train and guide associates through daily tasks and store standards
- Step in to resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
- Maintain visual and operational standards across the full store throughout every shift
- Partner with the Store Manager on store needs, staffing, and customer concerns
- Assist with troubleshooting POS, technology, or systems issues as they come up
What We Need From You
- 1+ year in retail with some experience directing others on a floor — shift lead, key holder, or senior associate
- Strong customer instincts: you lead by example, not by exception
- Clear communicator — comfortable setting expectations with peers and following up on them
- Able to reset priorities quickly when the floor changes; you don't need to be told twice
- Reliable and consistent — the team counts on you to show up ready
- Weekend availability required; this is a high-traffic tourist destination
- Reliable transportation to Sedona — not on a public transit route
- Interest in crystals, minerals, or wellness retail is a genuine advantage
