Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client specifications
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Carpenter
- Proficient in working with various materials such as wood, plastic, and metal
- Knowledge of different carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to drive work truck from shop to job site and back
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Skills:
- Proficiency in using power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders
- Familiarity with hand tools including hammers, chisels, levels, and measuring tapes
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during construction projects
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
