Marcel Studios LLC/Sports Journal Photos is currently accepting resumes/applications for full-part time seasonal School Portrait Photographers/School Class Group Photographers/Youth Sports Individual Photographers & General Photo Assistants. Positions are available for exuberant, high energy, extremely social individuals experienced working with Elementary thru High School aged students and athletes.
You must have insured reliable transportation; a valid New Jersey State drivers license, be detail oriented and enjoy working with children in schools and youth sport environments.
Experience in School or Sports portrait photography would be advantageous, but not required. We will train motivated individuals that show positive potential. These positions will require you to travel to schools and sports facilities within the New Jersey Area. ALL equipment and paid training will be provided to successful candidates.
Picture Day responsibilities: Work in a team environment with other studio staff. Set up portrait equipment (provided by us) at local schools or sports facilities and photograph all subjects present. Equipment and paperwork will be returned at the end of photography session to crew chief or lead photographer. You may be asked to perform other duties as required while on specific assignments.
These positions are seasonal in nature. They will consist of 14+ weeks in the Fall (Sept - Dec). and 8+ weeks in Spring. There are other events and activities during the year, but are limited . School assignments are scheduled for early morning to mid afternoon, but can vary. Sports assignments are scheduled mid-afternoon to early evenings and on weekends.
. Due to the nature of our clientele, ONLY fully COVID vaccinated individuals will be considered for these positions.
· School Photographers / School Photo Assistants must be able to work early mornings to mid afternoons, no exceptions.
· Sports Photographers / Sports Photo Assistants must be able to work mid afternoons to early evenings and some weekends.
· Must be extremely comfortable and enjoy working with children & teens.
· Must be very social with an energetic personality, creative eye and handle equipment with care.
· Must have impeccable customer rapport and be neatly groomed and well spoken.
· Successful candidates will undergo background checks and possible random drug testing.

Pay: $21.50 to $23.00 /hour (based upon experience)

Due to the nature these jobs working with school age children only Vaccinated individuals will be considered. We follow all school mandated protocols. You may be required to wear a mask depending on school guidance this fall.
