We are looking for a Registered Nurse to provide guidance and support for our elderly residents in our assisted living with memory care home. Our RN is a vital part of our GoodLife family working with our manager and assistant manager as a part of the administrative team, leading and guiding our caregivers in providing Compassionate, Personalized care for each senior in our care.
Job description
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients' conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Assist with diagnostic tests and interpret results accurately
- Provide emotional support to residents and their families
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience and skills:
- geriatric experience is preferred but not required
- knowledge of acute care practices and procedures
- Ability to effectively manage cases and coordinate patient care
- Proficient in monitoring vital signs accurately
