Store Manager — Southern Nutrition
Southern Nutrition is looking for a full-time Store Manager to join our team in Savannah, GA.
We’re a small business in the health, fitness, and nutrition space. Our goal is to support our local community by helping people get in the best shape of their lives, perform at their best, and simplify the steps to living a healthy lifestyle year round. We work with everyone from people just getting started in the gym to experienced athletes and bodybuilders, so being able to meet people where they are is important.
Who We're Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who practices what they preach. Someone who has an interest in training, nutrition, health, and wellness and enjoys talking to others about it.
You don't need to be an expert in everything. We can teach you the products, equipment, and processes. What we can't teach is genuine interest, a good work ethic, and the ability to make people feel comfortable.
The Right Person Will:
- Have a genuine interest in fitness, nutrition, health, and wellness
- Live an active lifestyle and have some personal experience with training and/or nutrition
- Be comfortable talking with all types of customers and making them feel welcome
- Be willing to learn about supplements and how they can fit into different goals
- Take initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done
- Be dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working independently
- Have good communication and people skills
- Be willing to learn and grow with a small business
What You'll Be Doing:
As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for helping keep the store running smoothly while providing a great experience for our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping customers find products that fit their goals and needs
- Learning our supplement lineup and being able to confidently explain products to customers
- Assisting with body composition consultations and equipment
- Maintaining the appearance and organization of the store
- Managing inventory and keeping products stocked
- Place orders with our retail vendors
- Create monthly team schedule/calendar
- Handling daily store operations and opening/closing responsibilities
- Building relationships with regular customers and community outreach partners
- Helping create a positive, welcoming environment in the store for our sales associates and customers
- Taking ownership of the store and identifying things that need to be done without being asked
On job training is provided, including training on our body composition equipment and product knowledge. You don't need to walk in knowing everything. We're looking for someone who is willing to learn.
