What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assist with visitor and staff directions, and help to support an orderly environment for patients, staff, and guests.

Document routine activities, incidents, and/or observations in required reports and communicate relevant updates during shift changes and with site contacts as needed.
Minimum Requirements:

A Certified Protection Officer designation is required.

Must be able to work in a hospital environment with vaccines present.
-
Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.

Must be at least 21 years of age.
-
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.

Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.

Must have at least 5 years of security-related experience.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
