Role Description
We are hiring a Lead HVAC Mechanic / Installer who can take ownership of residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
This is not an entry-level role. You must already be confident leading installations, managing job sites, and ensuring systems are installed to the highest standards.
You’ll work directly with customers, apprentices, and fellow technicians while helping maintain the quality reputation that Engineered Comfort Solutions is known for.
Required Qualifications
- Proven HVAC installation experience (must be able to lead jobs independently)
- Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems and installation practices
- Experience installing:
Heat pumps
Central air systems
Furnaces
Boilers
Air handlers
Mini-split systems
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and installation manuals
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Team-first mindset
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- EPA Certification
- Sheet metal fabrication experience
- Experience supervising apprentices or helpers
- Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing related to HVAC installations
What You’ll Do
- Lead residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish
- Ensure all installations meet company standards and manufacturer specifications
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower on job sites
- Train and mentor apprentices and helpers
- Communicate with customers regarding project progress and system operation
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and ensure quality workmanship
- Complete installation documentation accurately

Pay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour
