What you will do:
- Utilize a wide range of mechanical tools and equipment to perform equipment disassembly, repair, assembly, and testing.
- Troubleshoot and perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical compression equipment.
- Ensure facility equipment and tooling are operational, efficient, and safe.
- Conduct risk assessments prior to operations and material movements.
- Identify and report problems or hazardous conditions during equipment operations.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and collaborative skills with team members.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
Who you are:
- High School graduate or GED holder
- 8 years of experience in mechanical test and assembly/disassembly or heavy equipment repairs and maintenance, with strong preference for knowledge of Natural Gas CAT engines (3300 up to 3600 models), and Ajax, Gemini and Ariel Compressors used in contract compression business.
- Ability to perform troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
- Ability to set up and run test operations following engineering specifications.
- Ability to interpret drawings, prints, and engineering specifications.
- Physically capable of performing tasks involving pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, and other physical activities.
- Knowledgeable in safety regulations and good housekeeping requirements.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
