Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans, combining technical skill with compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques to address specific patient needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that align with individual health conditions and approved treatment area.
- Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy practices.
- Educate patients on self-care techniques to support ongoing wellness.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress, and clinical notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide exceptional patient service by creating a welcoming environment, addressing questions, and ensuring comfort throughout each session.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and coordinate care plans as needed.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Massotherapist or equivalent certification from a recognized regulatory body.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately and deliver personalized care.
- Familiarity with occupational health practices and the ability to adapt treatments accordingly.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes customer service excellence is preferred.
- BWC Certification is preferred however not required.
