We are looking for a competent and passionate Host/Food Expeditor to join our team!
As a strong and dependable cashier/host, greeting and welcoming customers. Ensuring that all our guests have a pleasant, memorable experience.
- Availability for lunch is a must
- Make memorable first and last impressions
- Smile & have genuine conversations with Guests
- Coordinate the wait and seat Guests with a sense of urgency
- Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact.
- Uses visual cues to seat guests in either the bar or dining area depending on their preference.
- Informs guest of current promotions and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff.
- Promptly answers incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.
- Manages the flow of Guests into the dining and bar areas, provides accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate and control the crowd
- Tends to special guest needs and requests.

- Observes guests’ needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service (i.e. notice a drink refill is needed while seating another guest and ensures the drink is refilled prior to getting back to the door).
As a Food Expeditor at our company, your main duty will be to keep an efficient workflow between the kitchen and the tables.
You will work in a fast-paced environment so your goal will always be to get proper orders in a timely manner
Must be available Lunch and dinner shift
Pay is $11.35 hour + share of tip pool
Estimated 20 to 30 hours per week
- Plan and manage the order flow
- Run the food to the tables
- Make sure that all the orders are prepared in time
- Assist and manage the final preparation of different food and dishes
- Control and oversee dishes before they leave the kitchen
- Ensure adherence to all relevant quality and sanitation rules and regulations
- Provide assistance in cleaning activities
- Serve as a contact point for the kitchen and the wait staff
- Take care of customers with special needs and requests
- Ensure excellent client service
- Give suggestions for the improvement of the restaurant’s offerings and reputation
- Execute a variety of different tasks as needed in accordance with managers requests and directions
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Experience:
- Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
