Medical Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator
Flow Heart and Vascular is looking for a friendly, caring, and detail-oriented Part-Time Medical Office Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator to join our cardiology practice.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates well over the phone, and wants to be part of a medical office that prioritizes patient care, follow-through, and a high-quality patient experience.

Responsibilities
- Call patients who are due or overdue for follow-up appointments
- Help identify patients who need to be scheduled based on results, provider instructions, or office follow-up lists
- Contact patients after procedures to check in and see how they are feeling
- Escalate patient concerns, symptoms, or questions to the appropriate clinical team member
- Help schedule follow-up visits, testing, and other appointments as directed
- Answer or return patient calls when needed
- Provide friendly, professional, and patient communication over the phone
- Document calls, updates, and patient responses clearly and accurately
- Assist with appointment reminders, no-show follow-up, and general patient outreach
- Support the front office team with light administrative tasks as needed
- Follow office protocols, call scripts, and HIPAA/privacy guidelines

Helpful Experience
Prior medical office experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

- Scheduling or administrative experience
- Volunteer work in healthcare or patient care settings
- Experience working with older adults or patients
- Pre-med, nursing, healthcare administration, public health, or related coursework
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong phone and customer service skills
- Good computer skills

- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality

- Interest in healthcare or patient care preferred
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
