Applicant MUST be able to perform the following functions:
* Create and submit electronic and paper medical claims with or without patient responsibility
* Submit corrected claims
* Knowledge in disputing claims with insurance payors
* Collections in old A/R claims
* Interpret remittance advice/explanation of benefits statements
* Conduct follow up activities for unpaid claims
* Submit appeals due to wrongfully paid or denied claims (Proper grammar skills is required)
* Perform posting of payments
* Determine and post contractual adjustments
Requirements:
Minimum: 1 year or more of medical billing experience.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Must be a team player and have excellent phone and customer service skills.
-Bilingüe.
-Pay rate depending on experience.
