Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Level 2 Security Officer to join our team. One full-time and one position is Part-time for Saturday and Sunday. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding security protocols.
Duties
- Greet customers entering the store
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activities or behaviors.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations.
Skills
- NM Licensed Level 2 (list license # in resume)
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR practices; certification is preferred.
- Experience in law enforcement or military service is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of security protocols and loss prevention strategies.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
